Toddler Talk Make-UP

Sooooooooo, my son is intrigued with make up. Its quite suprising because he is ALL boy, he is rough, rambunctious, silly, sporty and all things boy. But for some reason he is just drawn to make up. It may be because each day he watches me apply mascara to my lashes, lip gloss on my lips, blush, powder and bronzer on my face, he thinks its normal. We constantly tell him make up is for mommy and he will never touch it around us but every once in a while, You guessed it! He gets ahold of make up.

Today I caught him in the Corner with my Favorite Mascara in one hand, my favorite shimmer shadow in the other (both wands were in the other container) and my Mac compant on the floor and sponge on the table. He was so proud and thought I might be happy

 I screamed 'Dustin what are you doing????" He soon realized he was busted.

He managed to get his right lashes filled covered with mascara and both eyelids had eye shimmer.

We were on our way to the park when this happend, worse part was I am out of eye make up remover and this make up is SUPER smudge and water resistant. I tried my best to wash his face but in the end we have to leave and he was the only kid at the playground that looked like gene simmons.

I showed him the pictures of himseld and he said "Uh Duntin face tary (scary) mommy, peas clean it my face"

Mason is 6 months old

We have been blessed  these last 6 months with our precious Mason. He is such a joy to be around and is such a happy baby. He differs alot from Dustin at this age, but I know each child is different. Mason cannot crawl but boy can he roll. lol. He follows sound, grabs small objects, laughs, passes things from one had to the next, and plays. plays, plays!

 Mason has 4 teeth now. 2 on the bottom and 2 on top. You can usually catch him with his finger like this, trying to ease his lil gums.

 His feets are his favorite toy! I love his little toes and I am glad they make him happy :)

Mommy & Me Date

Dustin and I were able to enjoy a date together at Knotts Berry Farm. My wonderful mother was able to watch Mason so Dustin and I could have this time together :)

We really enjoyed spending time with each other without any distractions. Dustin was all Lovey Dovey with his momma!

Tangled Talk Tuesday

This week I want to talk Tangled with you. Yes, like the movie. Our good friend Crystal (aks LONK) lent us megamind and tangled. Dustin LOVES both of those movies, he watches them at least once every other day. So I was not surprised that he was picking up a lot of words he recognized from the movie. But I was suprised at how he integrated those words into everday vocab.

His favorite is "I have a dream"...He will sing that all day long, its adorable. The best part was when my grandma bought him krispy kreme donughts he took one bite and said "Mommy dis dohnut like a dream"
He will also pick up our coffee mugs and swing it with his elbows bent singins "I have a dream, you have a dream"

 Another phrase he loves is "I keep it my promise" Rapunzel calles her mom "Mother". Lately whenever I call Dustin he say "Yes Muhder, What you wan Muhder". I can't help but crack up. We have been working on potty training and Dustin always says "I neber break it my promise mommy, I keep it my promise"..

Today as we were counting money he said "7,69, I trying my best muhder" I just love him and all of his words!!

Down on the Farm

I organized a trip with our Mommy group to the Farm! It was such a fun time. The kids had a blast seeing the animals and even got to see a milking demonstration. We ended our tour with a nice little picnic 

Milking Cow. The milk from these cows are use to feed all the baby animals on the farm. (pigs, goat, sheep, etc.)
